To Our Valued Patients,
At Real Eyes, we know how important it is to feel comfortable in your glasses. Your purchase includes a 60-day adaptation policy, which lets us make any changes if your glasses donât feel right or if you feel your glasses arenât fitting well. Feel free to come back and see us for any issues you may have with your lenses or frames. It can take a few days to a few weeks to get used to a new pair of glasses. By making some minor adjustments, you will have a pair of glasses that is perfect for you.
Our Eyewear Warranty Policy allows a 60-day grace period when purchasing prescription eyewear. Here are a few important things to note when purchasing eyewear with us. This 60-day period begins on the day of purchase. Once the 60-day period has expired, a patientâs refund, return, and exchange options become very limited.
At Real Eyes Optometry, we adhere to an eyewear warranty policy. If a doctor determines that a change of prescription is needed within 60 days of the eye exam used to place a glasses order, we can provide a one-time free lens replacement. This free replacement will include the same lens options and coatings as the original purchase. If a patient chooses to upgrade their lenses during the prescription change, the difference in cost between the original lenses and upgraded replacements must be paid at the expense of the patient.
With our eyewear warranty policy, we provide patients who purchase lenses a period of 60 days after the orderâs purchase date to adjust to the lens design. During this period, if a patient feels as though they are unable to adjust to the lens design, we will provide one free lens refit with prescription lenses of equal or lesser value. If a patient cannot adjust to the lenses made as a lens refit, we can provide a refund upon the return of the prescription eyewear within 30 days of the purchase date of the lens refit. This does require that a doctorâs prescription check be completed prior to issuing the refund. For your convenience, you can book online.
All purchased frames have a one-year eyewear warranty covering any manufacturerâs defect, except for discounted or discontinued frame models. Please note that all eyewear warranty policy claims will be submitted to the manufacturersâ lab for inspection and approval. Any natural wear and tear or patient-inflicted damage (scratches caused by mishandling) to the lenses or frame will result in denial of a replacement. Real Eyes Optometry is not responsible for determining the status of these claims.
If a patientâs contact lens prescription changes within the same year as a 1-year supply of contact lenses that have been purchased, the patient can bring back any unopened, unmarked boxes of the contact lenses for a straight exchange into their new prescription contact lenses.
Please contact us if you have any questions about the eyewear warranty policy.
Free 30-Day Progressive Adaptation Warranty
We provide customers who purchase progressive lenses a period of 60 days after the orderâs dispense date to adjust to the lens design. During this period, if a progressive customer feels unable to adjust to the lens design, we can provide up to two free lens refits with replacement lenses of equal or lesser value (if the latter, the difference in cost between the original lenses and the replacements is refunded to the customer). We can also provide a full refund upon return of the product if the progressive customer feels unable to adjust to the lens design within the 30-day period
All sunglasses, eye care and health products are non-refundable. Contact us for more information.
