What to Expect at your Optometrist Appointment
Most appointments take about 30–45 minutes. Give yourself extra time so that our team can guide you through a quick intake process and answer any initial questions. If it’s your first visit, we may review your health history, current vision concerns, and any previous prescriptions.
Your eye exam is thorough but comfortable. We’ll assess your vision and eye health and discuss any symptoms like dryness, strain, or changes in clarity. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, we’ll fine-tune your prescription and make sure everything is working the way it should. After your exam, we’ll walk you through your results in plain language, no confusion, no pressure. If needed, we’ll recommend next steps, whether that’s updated lenses, contact lens options, or treatment for specific conditions.
